Summer camps for science and technology in KC area

MCC-Longview Community College (Lee's Summit, MO) offers classes and camps for ages 8-14, covering topics such as art, drama, science, writing, animal care and sports. New program this year, Camp Invention, where your child's creativity is challenged and problem-solving skills developed.

Oakhill Day School (Northland) offers many different sessions for age 2 through 8th grade. The sessions include cooking, computers, karate, academics, sports, swimming and more. Full- and part-day programs available.

Summer at Barstow offers a spectacular camp experience for children ages 3-18. There are more than 300 camps in academics, arts, crafts, cooking, dance, theater, science, technology, math and sports. Their science and technology camps consist of robotics, LEGO-themed classes, outer space, and other general science classes.
