The City of Beavercreek has announced their exciting summer camps that are guaranteed to enrich the children’s minds. Don’t miss out on all the fun this summer.
Location: City of Beavercreek, Recreation & Culture Department at the Rotary Park, 2260 Dayton-Xenia Rd.
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Drop off early time: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (no extra charge)
Pick-up late time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (no extra charge)
Resident Fee: $110 per week
Non-Resident Fee: $125 per week
Weekly Field Trip: each Wednesday to area locations – included in the weekly fee
June 16- Skymaters: Like Sports? Enjoy learning new and unique sports? Experience a week of sports that won’t be forgotten. Field Trip: Skyzone at Trampoline Park.
June 23- In Tune with Nature: It’s time to get back to your child’s roots. They will get dirty, explore creeks, and identify trees, bugs and more. Field Trip: Voice of America Park (fishing and paddle boats).
July 30- Mad Scientists: Get “mad” about science. A different experiment every day. It’s a short week, so the experiments will be double the fun. Field Trip: COSI. **Because of the short week – fees will be prorated – Residents $88/ Non-residents $100.
July 7- Summer Seas Adventure: One week of fun in the water. This week there will be fun, games and sun while playing in water. Bring swim suits. Field Trip: Vandalia Recreation Center.
July 14- Leapin’ Lizards: A wonderful world unfolds in this five-day investigation of the animal kingdom. Each day, your child will study different types of animals and learn about the wild place they inhabit. Field Trip: Heavens Corner.
July 21- Kalidescope: Be ready for anything! The children will experience different cultures, including food, art and games. Field Trip: DeCoy Art.
July 28-Naturally Nature: Love Nature? The children will hike down trails in search of animal tracks, unique flora and fauna- what will they find when they turn over rocks? Field Trip: Charleston Falls.
August 4-Time Travelers: The child will travel back in time when things were much simpler. NO video games, no computers, no electricity. What will they do? They will learn many alternatives and have amazing fun during this week. Field Trip: Sunwatch Village.
