Good day, green enthusiasts! Happy belated Fourth. Today, there is a very special treat.
This week was a true blessing for this humble journalist. All the way from Los Angeles, I received an opportunity to speak to Sophie Uliano, the New York Times bestselling author of the Gorgeously Green series, an expert on mainstreaming a decidedly alternative lifestyle, and a true sweetheart over the phone. A more hospitable and gracious spokesperson could never be found in a field as alternative and negatively-stereotyped as ours.
Despite my stuttering tendencies, the Hollywood Queen of Green was candid and gracious with her answers, and I left learning more than I ever could have imagined. The subject of our discussion was cleaning your medicine cabinet for the summer, and replacing your old pills and makeup with natural remedies and beauty products. I do want to take this opportunity to thank Sophie for her time; and her agent Tiffany for all the help she was in getting this show on the road and getting the video to me for upload so all of you can watch it. I can only hope that you are as enlightened as I was by the end. So, I will cease my rambling here, and let the conflicting accents of our voices tell the whole story.
Stay tuned for my report on the benefits of aquaponics systems, a cheap alternative to the grocery store and, for me, a recent discovery made over the July Fourth weekend. That will be coming up next week. This is Ian Nafziger, reminding you to stay clean, go green, and don't mess with Texas!
