By keeping these beauty products in your arsenal, you'll be beating the heat and still looking summertime-fine.

It's no secret that things have been getting hot in herre (no typo) these past few weeks, and with this hot weather some beauty products you've been using just aren't cutting it.

Sure, the heat allows all of us to sport the cute summer outfits, but how can you feel your best if your eye makeup has already melted away before you even leave the house?

June, July and August are meant for enjoying the sunny days by being outdoors, not constantly having to go to the ladies' room to powder your nose.

Add some of these products to your makeup arsenal that are guranteed to stay in place all day no matter what summertime activites you do.

First and foremost, please make sure you're protecting your skin with a good sunscreen. If you need help finding the correct products, here.

In the 100+ degree heat out there, wearing heavy foundation is a major don't. However, if you're in love with your full-coverage foundation but find that it's wearing away fast because of the heat aka sweat- wear a primer.

Primers are imperative in keeping your foundation and offer other benefits like, filling pores and fine-lines. There are plenty of primers on the market. Smashbox's Photo Finish Primer has been seen in magazines and beauty blogs for years, and slowly brands like Revlon, Maybelline, L'Oreal and Rimmel have started debuting some.

If it's too sweltering for you to even think about putting foundation on, but want a little bit of coverage, tinted moisturizers and BB creams will be your BFF. Tinted moisturizers provide SPF, even out skin tone and are lightweight. Try Lancome's Rénergie Éclat Multi-Lift, Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 , or Aveeno's Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30.

BB and CC creams landed on the scene a couple of years ago and now they're all over the place. There are many different creams depending on your skin's concerns. If your skin is on the oily side, try Garnier's Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free. If finding a cream for your skin tone is harder for you, Urban Decay's Nakes Skin Beauty Balm Broad Spectrum 20 comes in one universal shade. If you're looking for something with anti-aging benefits, there's Clinique's Age Defense BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30.

Blushes and bronzers that are cream or gel form are great adds to your summertime-fine beauty toolkit.

If you are one of those less-fortunate souls who don't have air-conditioning and you're sweating while simulanteously putting your face on, you know that sweat and powder are a nasty mix.

Cream blushes offer a nice glow and their higher pigmentation has better staying power than their powder counterpart. NARS' Matte Multiple offers high-impact color for eyes, lips and cheeks. It melts into skin for a natural and long-lasting look. Allure magazine raves about Stila's Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream in Fuschia over its staying power and subtle flush.

Gel and liquid cheek colors are also a good option and can also double as a eyeshadow and lipstick, as well. Benefit has plenty of lip and cheek stains that are perfect for the hotter temps and offer an array of colors depending on what looks best on you. Josie Maran's Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée is probably one of the only products in your caboodle that will contain coconut water. This gelée guarantees up to 14 hours of staying power.

Cargo's Swimmables™ Water Resistant Blush is waterproof and sweatproof and was used by makeup artists for "Dancing with the Stars". This blush is "specially formulated with a unique silicone-coated powder that provides better adhesion to the skin and withstands water."

Perricone MD's No Blush Blush is a self-proclaimed "revolutionary cheek serum that contains SPF". It's kind of like the makeup of the future. If that doesn't blow your mind, Perricone also makes a bronzer. You can combine the two colors and personalize your own shade.

Cream and gel based products aren't good for cheeks, but also the eyes.

For those of you who want/need to fill-in their 'brows, you know the struggle of sweating your eyebrows off. Whether it's a regular problem when you're working on your fitness or just when the temps heat up- you want to make sure your eyebrows stay intact in either instance.

How do you make sure this happens? Make sure your product is waterproof!

Some waterproof eyebrow fillers are Anastasia Beverly Hills' Dipbrow Pomade and Make Up Forever's Aqua Brow.

Those two products a little out of your price-range? No worries.

NYX's Proof it! Waterproof Eyebrow Primer "sets your brows in place all day, rain or shine." Apply this clear eyebrow gel over brows before shaping with powder to keep them in control.

Once your 'brows are framed and locked into position, we can now move onto the actual eyes.

First and foremost, getting an eyeshadow primer is another perfect summer beauty product. Primers for the eyes prep eyes for a smoother finish and make eyeshadows more vibrant...and let's not forget, it makes your shadow last longer. It's recommended to not use the primer on your face on your eyes because the skin on your eyelids are more delicate than the rest of your face.

Makeup artists use MAC's paints in Bare Canvas as a base for shadows because of its blendability and crease-free finish.

If you want a traditional primer for your eyes, Urban Decay has an array of eyeshadow primers depending on what you're looking for. The line has a primer for anti-aging, highlighting, traditional priming and one for going out.

Stila Stay All Day® Liquid Eye Primer is a liquid that can be used on lids directly or mixed with your eyeshadow. Talk about, convenient.

Cream eyeshadows, like cream blushes and eyebrow fillers are ideal for the heat. They won't cake and will shimmer in the sun like you're J.Lo.

bareMinerals actually makes a BB cream for the eyes. bareMinerals 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow offers longwear and sun protection. Maybelline's Eye Studio® Color Tattoo® Leather is the line's only cream gel eyeshadow and offers high pigment color for up to 24 hours.

Laura Geller's Beauty Cool Lids Eye Cream Shadow are perfect for summertime because the shadow is cool on contact. So, this shadow will literally cool you down. How perfect is that?

If you're planning on going to Water World or driving down to Aptos, but want to still look glam try Make Up Forever's Aqua Cream. This eyeshadow is highly pigmented and waterproof. So, you can splash around like you're Pamela Anderson and still have your makeup stay put.

As for eyeliner, liquid and gel liners are your best bet. MAC's fluidline is the makeup junkie's equivelant to a pot of gold. When you line your eyes with this gel liner, you're guranteed a smudge-proof and longlasting look. Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner also offers the same benefits as well as a "water resistant finish."

For mascara, waterproof formulas are going to be your partner in crime. Every one of your favorite beauty brands offers a waterproof version of your favorite mascara.

Lancome's Hypnose Waterproof Custom Mascara was voted #1 on Total Beauty's list of Top Waterproof Mascaras.

Diorshow mascara is already a cult-classic on its own, and fans went wild when a waterproof version was revealed. Let's not forget Maybelline's Great Lash waterproof, a legend in the world of beauty products. Women have been loving this mascara for years and of course, the waterproof version is just as popular.

Now that you've found the products for the perfect "melt-proof" face. It's time to set it.

You can resort to the traditional way and use a loose powder, which is perfect for oily skin types.

Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting powder is sheer and light-weight that leaves skin with a flawless finish. Of course your skin would feel luxe with this product because it's infused with "cashmere talc". Tarte's Smooth Operator™ Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder helps mattify skin and keeps makeup in place with its Amazonian clay properties.

Loose powders are great, but sometimes they're not enough to keep makeup in place, or maybe just another hassle on a muggy day. There's another option - makeup setting sprays. Not only do these sprays keep your summertime-fine face in place, but also helps cool you down.

Like their eyeshadow primers, Urban Decay has an array of setting sprays. The line's Chill Makeup Setting Spray is probably the best one that will appeal to you until after Labor Day. According to the brand, "the Temperature Control Technology actually chills the surface of your makeup to keep it looking gorgeously just-applied for up to 12 hours."

Kat Von D's Lock 'N Load Makeup Setting Mist is another weightless spray that promises to keep makeup in place for up to 16 hours. NYX Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray gives you a dewy finish that can last all day, and the $8 pricetag is perfect!

A little tip: whatever makeup spray you end up getting. Keep it in the fridge for a cool refresher.

Now that you have the correct products this summer, you'll be glam from day-to-night with no major touch-ups necessary. With all of the waterproof options, you'll be this summer's hottest mermaid!
