Take the family or make it a date – the Buffalo Museum of Science, located at 1020 Humboldt Pkwy. in Buffalo, is fun for all ages! Here are a few of the events and exhibits taking place in July.

Mummies of the World – now through September 21st featuring interactive and multi-media exhibits plus a collection of real mummies and artifacts from around the world – some mummies date back as far as 4,500 years! Timed tickets for the exhibit are $22 for adults, $21 for seniors (62+) and $18 for children 2 to 17 (must be accompanied by an adult).

Free Military admission – on Friday, July 4th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Museum will grant free admission to Mummies of the World to all active and retired military with the presentation of a military ID, veterans ID or discharge papers and photo ID at the admissions desk; admission also includes all other exhibits.

Seasonal Cooking Series: From Garden to Table – Sunday, July 20th from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Bite Size Science area of the Museum. The series of cooking classes follows food from garden to table, preparing items with different seasonal fruits and vegetables. Another class is offered on Monday, August 11th. Cost is $5 for Museum members, $7 for non-members (plus Museum admission).
