Buffalo Brewers Festival – Saturday, July 19th from 3 to 10 p.m. at Canalside in downtown Buffalo. Event will feature a “Meet the Brewers” tent, beer and food tasting sessions presented by Premier Gourmet, live music, food trucks and more. A concert featuring JJ Grey & Mofro takes place 7 to 10 p.m. with $5 pints of local beers presented by the Buffalo Niagara Brewers Association. Beer and Bacon Festival – Saturday, August 2nd from noon to 10 p.m. at Island Park, located behind Town Hall on Main St. in Williamsville. The third annual event supports breast cancer charities and will feature bacon-enriched foods, craft beer tastings and live music; new this year – a 5K run at 11:30 a.m. General admission tickets are $5, while craft beer tasting sessions (noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m.) are $30 pre-sale and $40 at the door – find out more about the festival at beerbaconfest.com.
Buffalo Brewfest – Friday, August 8th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo. Find out more details about this benefit for the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center Foundation as they become available at the Brewfest website.
Ballpark Brew Bash – Saturday, September 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coca Cola Field in downtown Buffalo. Admission includes a souvenir tasting glass, program and 20 tasting tickets, each redeemable for a 3 oz. beer sample. 50-plus breweries are expected at this year’s festival, including Community Beer Works, Ellicottville Brewing Company, Great Lakes Brewing Co., Flying Bison Brewing Company and Victory Brewing Company.
