Country line dancers and classic rockers will have a new spot to party this fall. Downtown bar hoppers tired of the same old top 40's hits blasting their eardrums can hit a country and rock 'n roll bar set to take the place of Sullivan's, 1227 N. Water St. Red Rock Saloon is scheduled to open its doors the first week of September.
The new bar will serve dinner and drinks with a casual dress code, and its hours will be 4:00 p.m. to bar close Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to bar close on Sundays, according to the Red Rock Saloon Facebook page. The building is currently undergoing last minute renovations. Open calls for all positions were held August 9 through the 12th.
Red Rock Saloon will be under the same ownership as Sullivan's, which held its farewell party July 24.

We've gave this place a try a few time. The set up looks great. The food was awful for everyone in my party. The staff there is very unprofessional and unaware of there products. We went there on a Sunday night they were playing some garbage music the bar tender told me that it was ROCK (not last time i heard it!) Drinks were priced based on the bar tender.
The staff really blew me away with there ignorance. From a female bar tender snoozing on a chair behind the bar and texting away. To the weak looking bouncer pushing into people.
I guess i was expecting to much looking for country music and good drinks. It like every shitty bar you've been to only with a rustic twist to the inside.
Cant wait to see the doors lock up on this place or new owners take over!
