While the weather may not have completely turned the corner from winter into spring yet, the fashion world is starting to roll out the spring and summer colors in anticipation of the warmer weather.
Suitsupply will be rolling out their latest collection for the spring and summer months on Thursday, February 27 at their downtown Seattle store and you are invited by to see the new goods on their debut day.
The new collection shifts away from the darker hues of the past season and offers a beautiful array of fresh, spirited colors – from bright oranges to electric blues – all intended to spark a party feel. The European-based label opened its Seattle storefront in early January 2014 and, with on-site tailoring available, focuses on delivering superior fabrics and design, with what they promise will be an unbeatable fit
.“After so many months of freezing cold and snow, you may have forgotten what summer even looks like,” says founder and CEO Fokke de Jong. ”Our vibrant new collection should serve as a welcome reminder of the warmer days ahead. Plus,” he adds, “the way we shot it ought to put a smile on your face.”
In addition to the season’s lavish and colorful creative, there’s a lively, celebratory spirit to every aspect of the new collection; from the label’s signature tailored pieces, to shoes and accessories. Key colors include electric blues, acid yellows, bright oranges and more; and fabrics range from lightweight Australian wool blends and Cape Kid mohair, to Irish linen, cashmere, and silk. “We’ve essentially created the building blocks for the ultimate tailored party look,” says de Jong. ”After the winter we’ve had, who isn’t ready to liven things up and have a summer party?”
