The “Suits” season 3 finale airs Thursday night on the USA network and fans will surely be left wanting more. Has season 4 already been ordered by the network? Luckily fans won't be left hanging on the answer to this one as can so often be the case with fan favorite shows. TVLine confirmed the news regarding a “Suits” renewal on April 8.
“Suits” season 4 is already in the works and will begin airing on USA this summer. At this point it seems that all of the key players on the cast will be returning. The show's Facebook page teases that the season 3 finale will feature a showdown between the U.S. attorney's office and Pearson Specter. The official synopsis at TV Guide adds that Harvey and Scottie will struggle to get on the same page while Rachel and Mike face different visions of their future.
What can fans expect in season 4 of “Suits”? Spoilers reveal that D.B. Woodside from “24” and Brendan Hines from “Lie to Me” will be joining the cast. Both actors will likely be quite familiar faces for many viewers, as they have played multiple roles across numerous television shows. Woodside of course played President Wayne Palmer on “24.” He has also been seen on “Parenthood” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Hines has had roles on “Scandal,” “Castle” and “Covert Affairs.”
A season 4 “Suits” premiere date does not appear to have been set by USA yet, but previous seasons have started in June and July. Fans have been vocal about not liking the split season format used this time around, though it has become quite common with a number of shows. It seems unclear at this point whether USA will split season 4 like they did for season 3. Stay tuned for more news regarding a season 4 premiere date for “Suits” and tune into USA on Thursday, April 10 for the season 3 finale.
