Harvey: “Mike, what is going on out there?”
Mike: “It’s kinda hard to explain. Have you ever seen Downtown Abbey?”

Harvey is not happy with this merger, and so he decides to sue Edward and makes a bet on the outcome. This is very much like Harvey. Now it’s a little confusing to figure out what exactly the case is about. Normally even when the case doesn’t take up most of the episode, the writers always give the viewers the basic details. All that is really discussed in this case is that Harvey’s clients are rapidly losing money. Did the lack of details on the case bother you?
One of the downsides of the episode is that there are some time jumps. The one at the beginning isn’t really the issue; it’s the jump from where Jessica tells Mike not to file the motion to the scene where Harvey confronts Mike in the bathroom. The writers go from one yelling scene to another. It would have been nice to have a little bit of transition. Plus it takes a minute to realize that Harvey is confronting Mike the following day, aka after he doesn’t file the motion. At first it seems like this is shortly after Mike and Jessica chat, but it’s not. Did this bother you?
Everyone is yelling at one another in this episode. No one seems to be on friendly terms. One interesting complication is Jessica threatens to expose Mike if he doesn’t betray Harvey. Mike and Harvey haven’t really been in a bad place. It will be interesting to see how this affects their dynamic in the next season. Rachel learns Mike’s secret. Now, this is an interesting move. With all that happens in this episode, adding this reveal is a little much. It’s hard to say what Rachel knowing this secret will do in the next season. Are you glad she finally knows?
