SuicideGirl gamer of the week: Tarion Suicide (Photos)

This week's SuicideGirl gamer of the week is Tarion Suicide. Tarion is a South African SuicideGirl with a Lego addiction. She also loves Supernatural, video games, and dressing up. We discussed some of her favorite games as well as the age old question - Sam or Dean Winchester?

Tell me about your SG nickname "Tarion." Does it have a special meaning?

Actually I thought I made it up years ago, when I first started trawling the internet. It sounded like a sci-fi or fantasy characters name. I later found out that it is also the name of some company in Canada. Just goes to show you should always Google possible usernames lol.

You have an awesome shoulder tattoo that also goes halfway down your arm. It's gotten bigger since some of your previous sets. Any plans to continue expanding it?

Oh yes I'm planning on making it into a full sleeve. It's getting there bit by bit. Really not looking forward to getting my elbow tattooed, but it has to be done haha. Lunar is currently designing the next installment for me.

Your profile says you are into Final Fantasy. Which is your favorite?

Final Fantasy VII was my first experience of the series, and I think because it was my first it will always be my favorite. The stories and characters are just so great and I am a huge Sephiroth fan. I even have the figurine!

Did you know that you can get Sephiroth in your party with a GameShark?

I heard about that but I never actually did it. I sort of like him being the mysterious bad guy.

When did you first get into gaming?

My brother was always big into gaming and he never used to let me play, so I only really got into gaming when I went to college. All my friends were gamers and once I realized that there were games with awesome storylines I was hooked.

Do you have a favorite console?

I used to play a lot of PlayStation games but they got a bit pricey so I mostly stick to PC games now.

What game are you currently playing most these days?

I’m playing Borderlands 2 at the moment. Those games are awesome. I really love the stylized graphics, post-apocalyptic look and of course Claptrap is adorable. He kind of reminds me of Wheatley from Portal 2. I like games with a good sense of humor, and I have thing for robots.

Are there any games you are looking forward to getting?

I’m looking forward to BioShock Infinite. Steampunk for the win! I also like how they have made the enemies so weird and different.

Let's talk Supernatural. Which is your favorite season and why?

I really liked Season 4. I think it had a great mix of different stories while still having an overall bigger plot. I really liked Castiel, especially in the beginning. He is so awkward. Also this season had my favorite episode in it…Yellow Fever. It’s the one where Dean is scared of everything and as an extra he sings Eye of the Tiger. That’s still one of my favorite clips on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsyMtYoSkC0

Who is hotter, Sam or Dean?

OMG Dean all the way! I think his character is much sexier, especially in the earlier seasons.

Do you think they could pull off a Supernatural video game?

Yes! That’s a really great idea. I think that would make an awesome game. Endless possibilities for characters and monsters. Why has no one done this?!?

Have you ever done any themed sets or cosplaying?

I did a shoot for a local anime lovers website which was fun. I wasn’t a specific character but I got to do the typical anime school girl which was cool. I also do more subtle themed sets for SuicideGirls. I’ve done Burlesque, Marie Antoinette, steampunk and a dark Alice in Wonderland set. I do, however, attend a lot of themed parties and I love dressing up! I’ve been Dr. Girlfriend, Ramona Flowers, Harley Quinn, Buttercup, Little Red Riding Hood … the list goes on. Basically give me a theme and I will dress up. ;)

Liking nerdy things used to get people picked on, at least here in America. Have you ever had to hide the fact you are into sci-fi, fantasy, video games, etc.?

Haha no. I've always been the odd one out. I realized at an early age that I wasn't destined to be cool so I embraced my inner geek and went with it. I just found like-minded people to hang with and I much prefer being myself to impressing people.

What are some other things that you like to do for fun?

Well I love reading, but I've fairly recently developed a big time love of audio books. It makes being stuck in traffic so much more bearable. Also it makes ignoring people at work pretty easy. My biggest hobby is also my nerdiest... I'm unusually addicted to Lego. I have so many it's getting a bit ridiculous. My personal favorites at the moment are the Monster Fighters sets. I have all the little monsters, Dracula, Frankenstein, Swamp monster, Mummy, Ghosts and Werewolf. They are so great!

Tell me something about yourself that nobody else knows.

I'm so good at finding the Lego Mini Figurines I want in the lucky packets that my nieces and nephews ask me to find them specific characters. Also the people in the Lego store know me by name...

Where can fans find more of you?
