Houston offers a wide selection of establishments that cater to the craft beer lover and among them, few can match the variety of beer choices at Flying Saucer. This weekend, the Sugar Land Saucer will be serving up a wide selection of craft beer as part of an annual event. Here is some background information:
Event: Sugar Land Flying Saucer BeerFeast
Location: Just outside of City Hall, in Sugar Land Town Square
Date and Time: Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sugar Land Flying Saucer BeerFeast is shaping up as one of the Flying Saucer’s most popular annual events. Held underneath a large tent in front of City Hall, just down the street from the Flying Saucer, this craft beer event features a selection of approximately 60 craft beers from over 40 different breweries. Attendees can sample new beer or enjoy an old favorite while nibbling on food supplied by some of the local Sugar Land Town Square eateries.
Admission to the event costs $30 or $15 for designated driver (there is a VIP option for $65, but these tickets have already sold out) and admission is strictly limited to adults age 21 and up. The general admission price of $30 gets you admission to the event plus a tasting card good for 12 different samples and a commemorative tasting glass. Designated drivers receive admission plus unlimited soft drinks. And if you decide you want to sample more, additional tasting cards can be purchased for the reasonable price of just $5 each.
Tickets to this event can be purchased at the door, but the cost for procrastinating is an additional $5 per person. If you prefer using the phone, 2013 BeerFeast personnel can be reached at 281-242-7468.
The Sugar Land Flying Saucer BeerFeast 2013 is a happening event and it only comes once per year. Logon to the web site today and make your reservations while tickets last.
