Trinchero Family Estates today announced the release of two new Caribbean rums -- a spiced and a coconut expression -- under the brand of Sugar Island.
Napa Valley vintners since 1948, Trinchero Family Estates is branching out into the spirits categories with their new division, Trinchero National Spirits. The new rum brand joins Cruz Tequila and Tres Agaves Tequilas, recently introduced to the market.
The TNS division was formed with the mission to represent an expansive portfolio of high quality premium spirits and mixers that would complement the company’s storied wine brands.
Sugar Island rums are said to be made from finest Caribbean sugar cane.
Sugar Island Spiced Rum: At 92 proof it’s a rounded, medium bodied spiced rum with the perfect balance of natural sugars and spices; smooth enough to enjoy straight or strong enough to hold its own in any spiced rum cocktail
Sugar Island Coconut Rum: Only natural coconut flavors adorn this beautifully crafted, well-balanced coconut rum. It needs no mixers; it’s so smooth and sweet. It has a slight heat, but that only makes it better.
