This past Friday night, April 11, wasn’t just an ordinary night. It was a night of Edwardian Romance with the Sue Wong Fall 2014 Fashion Show.
Sue Wong is the designer and name of the clothing brand that embodies stylish time-periods while adding Hollywood flare. She constructs elegant dresses and evening wear that are available in more than 25 countries.
The highly anticipated runway show was held at the LA-based Sue Wong Studios in an intimate space with a list of guests and fans who dressed well--befitting of the cocktail dress code. The beginning of the show started with a musical performance and then fall designs flowed down the runway. First we were graced with beautiful, neutral-colored designs and intricate patterns woven onto the dress. Then came the royal blue garments followed by teal, pink, red, black and finishing with white wedding dresses that should be worn this coming season. The wedding gowns were sultry, regal, and refined. Many of the gowns were paired with embellished and hand crafted head pieces too!
The entire collection embodied a sense of enchantment, femininity, and poise. Each model strutted her Sue Wong dress--demanding the spotlight without overdoing it. Many of the dresses could easily have been on the red carpet at the Oscars or the Cannes Film Festive.
The whole fashion show was a story told by the vibrant changes in the colors of the dresses. It was a must see show with fabulous designs from Ms. Wong.
