New Jersey hardcore act Suburban Scum will drop a brand new split with California hardcore act Xibalba on Tuesday, May 13th via Troy, NY based record label Closed Casket Activities. Today, the band have released a new song from the split entitled "Misery Loves Company".
The song starts off with a riff laden intro before barreling through with bellowing vocals from frontman RDT that sound like a man burning in the depths of hell. Fans of their 2012 release Hanging By A Thread will enjoy the solid mesh of Slayer-esque riffs and crushing hardcore breakdowns.
The Suburban Scum/Xibalba split will be released in both digital and 12-inch vinyl formats. You can also take a listen to Xibalba's newly released song from the split entitled "Death Threat" here. Pre-orders and more music from both acts will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

The band will also be performing at next month's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. Other acts included on the lineup include Behemoth, Slapshot and Nile.
