Syracuse University announced that Top 10 recruit, power forward Tyler Roberson, is enrolled and attending classes at SU. He was also cleared by the NCAA and is now eligible to participate as a full qualifier in intercollegiate athletics.
Hall of Fame coach Jim Boeheim had this to say: “I want to thank the NCAA staff for its help and work on reviewing and processing Tyler’s eligibility.”
The versatile and heavily recruited Roberson, 6’7 200lbs, hails from Roselle Catholic H.S. in Union, N.J. He is considered to be extremely versatile on both ends of the floor and attacks the glass. As he strengthens he can play the four position and owns a strong game from 8-16 from the rim that is extending out further. His length and athleticism inside and out along with a jump hook, defensive intensity, ability to alter and block shots together with range on his jump shot further loads an already loaded team.
He was a four-star recruit, rated 31st overall in the ESPN 100, 10th at his position, 8th regionally and #1 rated recruit in the state.
