Styx, Toby Keith, 3rd Eye Blind, Summerfest Friday July 1 events

Special guest Eric Church opens at 8:00 p.m. for country singer Toby Keith at Summerfest. They play the Marcus Friday, July 1. See ticket availability. Girl Talk, Los Lonely Boys and Third Eye Blind rock some of the other stages. Styx and Los Lobos take us back to the 80's and 90's Friday evening. And there's always entertainment for sports enthusiasts when the Division BMX Stunt Team rides their bikes.

The kids and entire family will enjoy Miss Lori and the CAMPUS Kids, Wayne & Wingnut and Magician David Seebach. There's a ton of food and drink to keep fest visitors satisfied.

First Alert Chief Meteorologist Mark McGinnis says, “We're going to crank up the heat Friday with a heat advisory in effect for all of Central and Southern Wisconsin until 8 p.m.” Friday's high temperature will be 93 along the lake-front, but heat indexes may reach 100 to 110 degrees. McGinnis advises everyone to seek shade, limit activity and stay well-hydrated. The low will be 72 with a ©Real-Feel of 78 to 80 degrees.
