Styles collide on Fixing Pete on Hallmark Channel

Styles collide when a fashion editor makes over a sports writer in "Fixing Pete,"  a Hallmark Channel Original Movie premiering on Saturday, January 7, 2012 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT, 7C).  "Fixing Pete" stars  Brooke Burns (“Melrose Place”), Dylan Bruno, (“Numb3rs”) and Stacy Keibler (“Dancing With the Stars”) join four-time Emmy® winner Valerie Harper (“Rhoda”), two-time Emmy® nominee John Ratzenberger (“Cheers”) and Charlie Schlatter (“Diagnosis Murder”) in an all-star romantic comedy.

Ashley Boyd (Brooke Burns) is happy with her life and career. Her career as a fashion editor is on the rise and her relationship with her boyfriend could not be more perfect.  An opportunity for advancement brings unexpected complications.

Ashley's boss, Nan (Valerie Harper) is inmpressed with a handful of televised makeovers for women, and givese her a chance for her own column, but there is a caveat. In order to  earn her own column entitled “First Look” Ashley must write her first set of articles about making over a guy, something she has never done.

Ashley is uncomfortabel with the assignment, but her best friend Mandy (Stacy Keibler) encourages her to rise to the occasion. The  intended subject is Pete Camden (Dylan Bruno), a notoriously chauvinistic sports writer whose best accessory is the ketchup stain on his torn sweatshirt.

Pete is not enthused about the project either,, afraid it will ruin his ultra-macho image, but his  boss Clayton (John Ratzenberger) insists that an image makeover will be good for promoting Pete’s new book and he is left no choice but to cooperate.

As Ashley chips away at Pete’s macho exterior she realizes he is actually more than he
appears to be and as Pete gets to know Ashley, he begins to see her letting go and having fun, realizing he may have misjudged her. The two remain distant, but their best friends Mandy and Marty (Charlie Schlatter) quickly see that though Ashley and Pete are not perfect individually, they are totally perfect together. Now if only the stubborn pair would realize the same before it is too late!

“Fixing Pete” is a MNG Films Ireland Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions. Larry Levinson is the executive producer. Randy Pope and Mary Callery are the co-executive producers. Erik Heiberg and Lincoln Lageson are the producers. Michael Grossman directed from a script by Larry Kase and Joel Ronkin.
