A national survey was conducted by Survey.com. On Jan. 3, The Los Angeles Fashion site released results that show style is on the decline. This doesn't mean fashion style, just style in general. The survey also revealed that while it's on the decline, consumers look to be stylish.
Consumers in the survey believe that wine can make anyone stylish. Italian wine brand, Ecco Domani found out the recent results. They want to travel around the country to bring back style. They will demonstrate that uncorking a wine can bring style back to someone's life.
Ecco Domani help conducted the nationwide survey with Survey.com. They also run a fashion organized called the Ecoo Domani Fashion Foundation (EDFF). They award a $25,000 award to future fashion designers at New York Fashion Week.
The company hopes to raise the current decline on style. They want to show th consumer that style can be "contemporary, classy and fun." The company recently released a statement, saying:
"At Ecco Domani, we think style is paying attention to little things; it’s not formal or costly—it’s wearing lipstick to the grocery store or always bringing a gift to the host and hostess, as was customary in our parents’ day,” said Molly Davis, Vice President of Marketing for Ecco Domani Wines of Italy. “And because wine has always been associated with effortless elegance—in fact, one in four respondents think it’s the wine selection that elevates an occasion from ordinary to extraordinary–Ecco Domani Wines is raising a glass to celebrate the return of style."
