According to a Feb. 1 TMZ report, a stuntwoman who was severely injured during an accident on the set of “Justified” has filed a lawsuit against the show’s producers, alleging that they are responsible for her physical injuries and broken marriage.
The lawsuit, filed by Lisa Hoyle alleges that during a stunt for the show in 2011, a car on the set crashed into a parked vehicle, running over her ankle and sending her crashing to the floor. According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Hoyle alleges loss of consciousness, an open head fracture, soft-tissue injuries and bruising, among others.
The lawsuit claims that she was never informed that the parked vehicle was part of the stunt. She reportedly missed the information meeting held by the stunt coordinator. In addition to the physical injuries, Hoyle alleges that her “marital relations” with her husband deteriorated to the extent that the couple is now separated.
She is seeking unspecified damages. “Justified” airs on FX network.
