A stunning Kate Middleton wax likeness will headline the opening of the14th Madame Tussauds wax museum when it opens tomorrow (Friday) in Tokyo. The Duchess of Cambridge wax figure is dressed in the figure flattering lace Alexander McQueen dress she wore on June 5, 2012 during the final days of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration, the museum's website reveals. (Examiner.com previously named the look as one of Kate's top styles of the year.)
The meticulously done wax of Kate Middleton also has her wearing an exact replica of the veiled hat she wore that day, her famous nude heels, drop pearl earrings, a gold clutch and perfectly recreates her half up-half down hair do from that day.
The Duchess' wax figure is in the world leaders area of the new Madame Tussauds Tokyo. She stands near a wax figure of Prince William and Princess Diana.
Four other wax figures of the now pregnant Duchess were also created for other Madame Tussauds wax museums around the world. Each debuted in 2012 wearing a different one of her most famous styles -- including her blue Issa engagement dress.
