Update 9/4/14: Copper has been put down. Rest in peace.

Since July 29, a gorgeous German shepherd named "Copper," has been held for adoption at the Downey Animal Care Center in California.

Copper is a beautiful, seven-year-old dog who has managed to slip off of everyone's radar...she is an elegant example of her breed, with a lovely gait, beautiful coat and noble disposition. Unfortunately, despite her many positive attributes - she remains without a home and she is in need of help because she has been at the facility for too long.

Please take a moment to network on Copper's behalf - she deserves to spend the rest of her days by the side of a guardian who will love and appreciate the incredible dog that she is.
