Studio album and extensive North American tour from Dave Matthews Band

As the Dave Matthews Band prepare for the release of their eighth studio album, plans to hit the road have been revealed after the band took a lengthy and well deserved break in 2011.

An extensive North American tour will launch May 18th in Woodlands, TX winding down in our very own Shoreline Amphitheater Sept 9. Tickets for all shows go on sale March 9 except for the band’s headlining gig at the Hangout Music Festival which has already gone on sale.

The Avett Brothers, Tower of Power, Brandi Carlile, Mariachi El Bronx, Fitz and the Tantrums, and The Head and the Heart are just a few of the special guests joining the band, so check your local listings to see who will be opening the show in your town.

The band is currently in the studio recording a new album with Steve Lillywhite, producer of the band's first three studio albums, Under The Table And Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets. Their last album, 2009s Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, making it the band’s fifth consecutive #1 debut.
