On Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, Stu Pepper, who resides in Cape Coral, Fla., shared with Examiner.com about his recent experience of being on the "Dr. Phil Show."
The show aired at 5 p.m. on CBS on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. Stu Pepper participated on the show in the capacity of legal counsel, as he was Ashely Toye's attorney.
The show flew Pepper to Hollywood, Calif., and it was taped at Paramount Studio. He was an audience member and was seen in the front row, up close and personal.
Either way, being in the audience or working as an attorney, Stu Pepper traveled across the country to be on the "Dr. Phil Show!"
The show was about giving juveniles, who had been sentenced to life, a second chance.
For those who do not know, according to Wikipedia, Phillip Calvin McGraw is best known as Dr. Phil. He is a television personality, author, psychologist, and the host of the "Dr. Phil Show." The show debuted in 2002.
McGraw first gained celebrity status with appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in the late 1990s.
When Examiner.com learned of Pepper's appearance on the show, Pepper, himself, appeared to take the experience in his stride.
Stu Pepper shared about his "involvement" with the show very non-chalantly. He never bragged or boasted, just told it the way it was.
"The show was very professionally done. There were a zillion [staff members] behind-the-scenes. There were also multiple dressing rooms.
Dr. Phil seemed to be very well versed with all facts, and he did not miss a beat!"
In addition, leading up to this show, a local film and televison organization, UFTA, recognized two outstanding talents on January 9, and Stu Pepper was one of them. Actress Cassidy Reyes was the other.
UFTA (United Film & Television Artists) meets in Fort Myers, Fla. at Alliance for the Arts. The group meets every second Monday of each month.
Stu Pepper, a UFTA officer (Vice President), was that night's speaker. He shared about his experience and the upcoming airing of the "Dr. Phil Show." He also shared about something else that was up close and personal to him - a new film!
Pepper is also an actor and writer who is known for creating stories that become films.
At UFTA's recent meeting Pepper discussed the current status of his script and his upcoming appearance on the "Dr. Phil Show."
