The Strut Your Mutt will be on Saturday, Sept 29th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Riverside Park.The Strut Your Mutt is a dog festival that raise money to save the lives of homeless pets.
The Strut Your Mutt event will feature massages, paw-dicures, dog yoga, spa services, free treats, music, entertainment and pet boutiques. There is a $30 registration fee for the event. The event will bring awareness about the importance of adopting pets.
Last year, Strut Your Mutt fundraiser raised $700,000 for animal rescue groups and The Best Friends Animal Society. This year, Strut Your Mutt goal is to raise 1 million dollars and work together to become a nation where there are no more homeless pets.
The Strut Your Mutt event will support Best Friends Animal Society which is a national non profit organization building no kill programs and partnerships that rescue homeless pets. Best Friends started Strut Your Mutt as a fundraising event 17 years ago in Salt Lake City. The dog festival is now held in many cities and thousands of people attend the event every year.
