Stronger start for the St. Ambrose Bees Men's Basketball

St. Ambrose University Men's Basketball started off the season undetected by the Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll. The St. Ambrose Bees are now 11-4 and are ranked 21st. Their last victory was December 23rd over Aquinas to take 3rd place in the Saint Xavier Midwest Tournament located on the St. Xavier University located in Chicago, Illinois.

The Bees take a Christmas break from studies and sports only to come back to finish their season strong with the year opening on January 4th when they host Indiana-South Bend. The Bees are 6-1 at home and the following stat leaders have contributed to this success.

Nick Frazier, junior from Bellwood, Illinois - total points, 301
Tylon Deal, junior from Peoria, Illinois - assists, 74
Deal and Sam Ainsworth, sophomore from Elmhurst, Illinois - rebounds, 79 & 77

Michael Knoll, sophomore from Melbourne, Australia - blocked shots, 10

The Bees have already passed their win total from last year (10) with 11 wins this year, and will continue to work hard to maintain their top 25 ranking as game time starts at 3pm on Saturday, January 4. Go Bees!
