As you stroll through the community, enjoy a visit to the site of the former streetcar line that drove Old Shandon's growth to the south and east over several decades. During the tour, guides will point out several homes that have undergone careful rehabilitation to preserve their architecture and character. Learn about the neighborhood trends and changes of ownership in Old Shandon over the course of more than a century.
Second Sunday Strolls provide a guided tour for many of the neighborhoods featured in Historic Columbia's Retrace: Connecting Communities Through History brochures. Tours are 30 - 60 minutes in length. Visit historiccolumbia.org to take a virtual tour of the neighborhoods and learn more about the communities.
Walk-ups welcome if space permits. Tickets can be purchased at 803.252.1770 x 23 or email@example.com.
