When hundreds of rowdy women pour into a venue expecting to see a hot male stripper, it's probably best to give them what they want.
Unfortunately for the organizers of a popular Ladies Night in Cardiff, Wales, muscular heart-throb Fabio pulled out at the last minute, and his replacement left rather a lot to be desired.
Appearing on stage wearing grey tracksuit trousers and braces, "scruffy" novice Leon Zbudowskyj didn't set many hearts aflutter as he stood rooted to the spot and stared blankly at the audience.
"He looked like he had come off the street, he looked dirty, he was unshaven and he didn't have a six pack,” compare Debra Jones told The Telegraph.
"He was diabolical, he was disgusting, he just didn't have anything, no music, no dance routine.
"In fact he looked like he had been hit in the face with a wok.
"He just wasn't the sort of person you wanted to see take their kit off.”
Indeed, rather than take his kit off, 29-year-old Zbudowskyj appeared to be frozen in place on the stage.
The women in the audience, who had each paid £10 ($15) for the privilege of seeing a hunky fireman perform a top class stripping routine, quickly lost patience.
Heckling the sub-par stripper and pelting him with napkins, the women goaded Zbudowskyj into action.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the sort of action they were expecting. The novice stripper allegedly threw himself into the audience and sparked a huge brawl.
Five police cars were called to break up the scuffle at the Baltic Inn in Pontyates, near Llanelli, South Wales, and Zbudowskyj was arrested on suspicion of assault.
The owner of the inn has said that Zbudowskyj, who did not receive payment for his unusual interpretation of a male strip show, is unlikely to get any future bookings.
