The Sky Sox devastatingly lost three of four against the Tacoma Rainiers which put them out of the playoffs. The Sox fell in nine innings by a score of 11-to-2. It was the final game of the season and the Sky Sox were up by just one game over Tacoma for the division lead when they lost. Because Tacoma owns a better record in the division they won the tiebreaker.

Wait ‘til next year.'

With any luck the Sky Sox will be back in it next year. The organization and their affiliates have some great players coming up from Tulsa, Modesto, Tri-City, Asheville, and Casper. Tri-City, Asheville, and Modesto are going to the playoffs this year, with several players that are standouts in their respective divisions.

Maybe next year will be the year for the Sky Sox.

Devestating! Do hope we will hear about the affiliates and how they do in their playoffs AND, most importantly, find out who we may get for next year.
