Remember that trailer that included Guy and Cody? Anyone else think that it's odd that Ono said that just becuase they were in a trailer that it doesn't mean they'll be in the game...? That's quite a tease. Guy and Cody aren't even on the official site at all. If I were a betting man, I'd say that Cashcom wants to put Guy and Cody as DLC right when the game comes out. But it'd be real nice of them to put them in the game, especially considering that they put a whole lot of effort into including them in a promotional trailer.
In any case, check out some more Street Fighter x Tekken videos from a Korean test location. As for the gem system, it is known that you don't have to equip gems before a battle. I expect that most tournaments will eschew the gem system as it is a logistical nightmare to incorporate. Here are the 31 characters announced so far:

Another comment to note is that Ono said that Jin would be part of his team if he ever played for real. With the release date set to March 6, 2012, I think it's fair to say that there will be more character announcements.
