To celebrate (and promote) the PC release of Street Fighter IV, Capcom has turned Street Fighter II' Champion Edition into a free flash game.

Street Fighter II was released in 1991 and became an instant hit with its easy-to-learn moves but hard-to-master fighting system. It literally became, and still is, a pop culture phenomenon.

Street Fighter II' Champion Edition is the first of many revisions for Street Fighter II. In addition to some balance tweaks, it features an expanded cast of fighters with the inclusion of boss characters in addition to the option of having the same characters fight each other.

Although it isn’t the best version of Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II' Champion Edition is still a decent title especially since you can play it for free right now straight from your web browser.
