Street Eats, which has quickly grown to one of the biggest and best foodie events in Scottsdale, will return to Salt River Fields January 25-26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, this year featuring an eye-popping 50+ food trucks from Arizona to Montana!

The highly anticipated event fills guests’ stomachs and offers a kids zone, live music, cooking demonstrations on the Sub-Zero Wolf Cooking Stage and an array of zany competitions on the EATERAZ Contest Stage. Guests also will enjoy FREE parking thanks to Discount Cab and FREE admission for children 12 and under courtesy of Comfort Dental.

But, this page is all about wine and cocktails – so we reached out to event producers to see what’s pouring this weekend to pair with all of the food truck fun.

To our delight, we found that nearly a dozen wines will be sampled throughout the weekend, including:

· The Great American Wine Company Red Blend

· The Great American Wine Company Cabernet

· The Great American Wine Company Chardonnay

· Butterfly Kiss Red Blend

· Butterfly Kiss Pinot Grigio

· Crème de Lys Chardonnay

· Velvet Crush Red Blend

· Velvet Crush Cabernet

· Velvet Crush Pinot Noir

In addition, Coors Light, Miller Light, Blue Moon and Redd Apple Ale will also be available for beer lovers in attendance and, thanks to Smirnoff Vodka and Captian Morgan White Rum, festive mixed drinks will also be served.

General admission is $12; children 12 and under FREE. VIP tickets in 2014 are a bargain at $50, $10 less than last year, yet delivering food, drinks and other bonus items tallying a value of more than $200.

Additional Information

Food Trucks. Streets Eats brags perhaps the most diverse array and largest gathering of food trucks in the world. This year, trucks are traveling from Nevada (Sauced) and California (Devilicious of TV fame) to participate. Plus a new wrinkle in 2014 is the growing trend of traditional brick-and-mortar establishments venturing into the food truck universe. Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers and Native Grill & Wings [aka Native New Yorker] will deliver their brand of morsels-gone-mobile. Additionally, food truck favorites The Grilled Cheese Truck and Tom’s Pig Rig welcome new food trucks to the Street: Two Fat Guys Grilled Cheese and Grilled Addiction.

Degree 270 VIP Lounge. VIP tickets are $50 and deliver $200 in value. VIP guests receive a welcome package that includes a drink voucher for 6 drinks at the VIP bar (includes non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages), four food tokens and VIP Lounge access, with live music by Talking Stick Resort’s Degree 270 and its exclusive DJs. Degree 270 is the lounge overlooking the metro area from the 14th floor of Talking Stick Resort and features live music, dancing and breathtaking views. VIP guests also will receive discount vouchers within their welcome packet filled with exclusive offers from metro area businesses, including Tour de Tavern, Brush Party and others.

EATERAZ Contest Stage. Guests put their appetites to the test in various eating contests including a Twinkie eating contest, hot dog contest, pie contest, sandwich contest and a saltine cracker eating contest. Visit for schedule and contest details.

Musical Entertainment. Fan favorite School of Rock provides ongoing musical entertainment. Details coming soon! Entertainment for the kids will be provided with a Kids Zone, for a nominal cost for each activity in the ‘zone.’
