Stray, 'tail-wagging' German shepherd needs a home: Owner did not show up

A beautiful, female German shepherd is available for adoption after being picked up as a stray in Garland, Texas, back on August 21. During the week that the dog was impounded, no owner came forward to reclaim her as their own.

On the Facebook page, Garland Animal Shelter - Volunteer Page, there is a photo of the homeless shepherd which shows her happily thumping tail and endearing "shepherd head tilt." In the notes that accompany the photo, there are the words "Sweet Girl."

It is unlikely that this dog did not have an owner prior to her arrival - where that owner is remains a mystery. Now that the dog's stray hold has expired, she is available for adoption and needs to find a new home.
