For several days, a stray dog in Oconee County, S.C., has been running around with a metal pipe stuck on his head. According to Friday's KCTV 5 News, the dog has been suffering with the duct work on his head since at least Monday.
Fortunately, there is hope for the troubled stray - on Friday afternoon, the Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation stated:
Update: Veterinarians and experienced volunteers are working to try to help the dog with the vent pipe on its head. Please do not come to the area. We have the people and skills we need to work with this situation. The dog is very afraid, and extra people, noise, smells are not helping. This only makes the situation worse and the dog more afraid. We will update you as soon as we have news.
When and if the dog is successfully captured, the rescue agency hopes to get him to a veterinarian for care.
