After all the hoopla surrounding December 2012 as the possible end of the world, there were many reports in the new year of strange sounds in the sky that many believed were trumpets from heaven, which raised peoples’ fears once again Things have been relatively quiet since then but now a new video has surfaced suggesting that the eerie sounds are back.
Kimberly Wookey, a resident of British Columbia could not be reached for comment, but she notes on her YouTube site that she heard the strange sound on August 29, 2013 at approximately 7:30 a.m.
“This is the second time I have heard the sounds here in Terrace, B.C., Canada. First time was back in June 19, 2013 but it was not quite so intense.”
She said the noise actually woke her up.
“I shot out of bed, realizing it was the same sound I heard before and I ran looking for a camera to try to capture them with.”
It seems the eerie trumpeting really upset her young son as well
“I came out into the living room to find my 7-year-old son awake and scared, wondering what was going on.
Wookey is not the only one who has heard these trumpet-like sounds. In 2012 there were quite a number of reports including the following videos:
Why the sound has returned is a mystery. Some people believe it is associated with the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), which analyzes the ionosphere and how to develop ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance. HAARP has a high-powered radio frequency transmitter facility in Alaska. Among its many capabilities, it has a “digisonde (ionospheric sounding device) that could possibly account for the strange noises heard in the sky.
Others believe that the sound is a natural phenomenon possibly created due to solar activity, microwave or cell phone transmissions, or even the military at work attempting to control the weather. Still others think it is associated with Revelations where the angels blow their trumpets heralding the end time is near.
This Examiner heard similar sounds on a warm night during the summer of 2012. Whatever the cause, it is definitely unnerving and at times so loud that it cannot be ignored.
