Looking at the sun is painful to the eyes. Studies suggest! Well, this is not one of the topics of the day. But Reuters reports something similar:
Talk therapy performed by nurses and other clinic staff may help people with health anxiety stop worrying about being sick when they're not, a new study suggests.
The goal of so-called cognitive behavior therapy, or CBT, is to help people understand how their thoughts and attitudes affect how they feel and how they respond to situations. It then addresses practical steps people can take to improve negative thoughts and outcomes.
A guy comes into a doctors office and says his arm hurts. The doctor does some tests and finds nothing. Same guy comes in a week later with another ailment, more test, same results. Doctors says to the guy there is nothing wrong with you, knock it off. This is now called Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), why? Because when that guy gets his bill it will say “CBT-----$875.56“.
How to negotiate with the enemy:
What did not happen:
The Obama administration is delaying for one year the individual mandate in Obamacare. It says a pause in the push to impose penalties to those who don’t sign up will allow negotiations with congress flexibility in talks to raise the debt ceiling.
What did happen:
The Obama administration is asking Congress to hold off on enacting new sanctions against Iran. It says a pause in the push to impose new penalties would give negotiators flexibility in talks now underway to get Iran to comply with demands it prove its nuclear program is peaceful.
That’s normal, right?
Glitch.com, well no, what I mean is the web site that under penalty of law young people have to access and buy health insurance in order for the government to kick into action its generational redistribution of wealth by proxy scheme, cost the taxpayers $678 million. It doesn’t work because it’s a success. Yea, I know. Silly isn’t it. Anyway the company that built the web site, Canadian company called “CGI”, just by coincidence has as its top executive Toni Townes-Whitley who happens to be a college buddy of first lady Michelle Obama.
Well, maybe it’s just a coincidence. But how about this:
George Schindler, the president for U.S. and Canada of the Canadian-based CGI Group, CGI Federal’s parent company, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company gained the Obamacare website contract.
$678 million goes towards constructing a web site to a Canadian company. The company receives the money and turns around and “donates” to Obama 2012 campaign. It’s all legal, why it’s done all the time.
