The first image from the N.W.A. biopic, "Straight Outta Compton," has now had the first image released of the cast and also has a release date. On June 18, 2014, the Huffington Post showed the image that portrayed the actors in the cast and their old-school, real-life counterparts, and it's incredibly awesome.

"Straight Outta Compton" will officially hit theaters on Aug.14, 2015, and it is set in Compton (obviously) and back in the mid-'80s. The Universal film tells the story of the epic and masterful rap group simply known as the N.W.A.

The image shows Ice Cube, director F. Gary Gray, and Dr. Dre standing in the back row. The front row shows Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre), Jason Mitchell (Eazy-E), and O'Shea Jackon Jr. (Ice Cube).

It was tweeted by Ice Cube with the caption of:

"Finally found the cast for the NWA movie. Me, Gary Gray, Dre w/ Cube, Eazy & Dre #StraightOuttaCompton coming 8/14/15"

Ice Cube and Dr. Dre have joined onto the film as producers since they are, of course, original members of the N.W.A. They are joined as producers by Matt Alvarez and Tomica Woods-Wright, who is the widow of Eazy-E, another original N.W.A. member.

"Straight Outta Compton" tells the story of the fantastic young men who revolutionized the world of music and pop culture forever. Not only was their music brash and hard, but it was truthful and brutally honest about life in the hood.

"Straight Outta Compton" stars Corey Hawkins, O'Shea Jackson Jr., and Jason Mitchell. It will officially hit theaters on Aug. 14, 2015.
