Looking for a fun place to enjoy St. Patty's Day? Or maybe you just want to linger in a traditional Irish Pub for the food, drinks and ambience. I can recommend a place that is both intimate or noisy, friendly but also private, delicious, down-home, and has a folksy but edgy feel to it. Stout Sports Bar & Grill. This Irish inspired tavern opened last March, 2012 and has become a staple for neighbors as well as South Floridians, who are looking for a fun place to enjoy tantalizing comfort food, music and good service. They keep their thirsty clients well watered. Oh, did I mention that they will have green beer for the St. Patty's day festivities?
As you would expect the place offers 80 different varieties of Scotch, 60 different beers, 20 draft beers and a big selection of Irish favorites such as Bangers & Mash, ($13), Fish & Chips, ($13), Calf's Liver & Onions, ($15), Shepherd's Pie, ($14), and Corned Beef & Cabbage, ($13).
Chef Charlie Miller makes sure that each dish is authentic, fresh and flavorful. He said, "Don't be scared off by the Bar & Grill aspect outside. There's a lot more to the place than what you see from the outside and the food's good too."
Week-end brunch is available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and they often book fun events such as car shows on Sundays. Sometimes they have as many as 40 novelty cars parked around the premises on any given Sunday.
