In 2012 the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history started. Known collectively as New Fantasyland, there are two additional sections in the area. The first opened in the summer of 2012 and it's called Storybook Circus. It's the new home of Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer. There is also free entertainment at the entrance to the section.
There are two different acts that you will be able to enjoy at the Storybook Circus entrance. The first is known as the Giggle Gang. They are a group of clowns who will use members of the audience (especially the children) to help them with their act. The schedule for the Giggle Gang can be found in the Times Guide that you can pick up near the park maps.
The second act is a solo clown who goes by the name Wowzer. While the times for his shows are not listed in the Times Guide he alternates with the Giggle Gang. Wowzer thrills guests with feats that will make you wonder how they are done. There are two performers who play the part of Wowzer and their acts are very different. One of them has an incredible plate spinning routine that will have you cheering. The other features a balancing act, you will be sure that he is about to fall. You can pose for pictures or get an autograph after the show is over.
The Fantasyland expansion continues. Princess Fairytale Hall will open in late 2013, no official date has yet been announced by Walt Disney World. The expansion will be complete in 2014 with the addition of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
