According to the Washington Business Journal the slate of high-end retailers headed to the CityCenterDC development will include some of the fashion industry's most sought-after names: Choo. Vuitton. Ferragamo.

Slated to be DC's version of Rodeo Drive, shoe retailer Jimmy Choo, leather goods store Louis Vuitton and high-end cashmere purveyor Loro Piana are among the stores that have signed on, according to a source with knowledge of the project.

CityCenterDC has long been going after a slate of luxury retailers to fill out the ground floor of the mixed-use project at 9th Street and New York Avenue NW. Also among the offerings will be Christian Dior, Hermes, Paul Stuart and Salvatore Ferragamo, according to the source. The Washington Post also reported on several of the retailers in April.

"Nothing's going to be fine dining there … how many fine dining places do you really need? No one wants that anymore," said Tom Papadopoulos, who represented Boulud in his deal at CityCenter and is working on several other restaurant deals at the site. "But it's all going to be cool and hip; that's what they want there."
