Saturday, March 9 saw the grand opening of the 'Now and Then Second Hand Store' in downtown Long Beach.
Owners Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schultz, the husband and wife team from the popular reality show 'Storage Wars' opened their second store in the downtown Long Beach district on the corner of 5th Street and Pacific Avenue, with their first store located in the City of Orange.
The grand opening started with an orange ribbon cutting just after 10 a.m. with the film crew of Storage Wars documenting the entire event for their 4th season due to be aired in approximately 3 or 4 months.
"We chose downtown Long Beach for our second store because of the foot traffic from the Long Beach Convention Center, the Queen Mary and the Long Beach Gran Prix", said Brandi Passante.
Friends, family members and fans were in attendance for the ceremony. Eager to get an autograph and have their pictures taken with Brandi Passante, Jarrod Schultz, Dan Dotson and Barry Weiss.
Fans perused inside the 'Now and Then Second Hand Store' buying up second hand items while admiring items that were featured on the reality show and are now on display behind a windowed counter.
Brandi and Jarrod raffled off gift prizes and free T-shirts, while DJ Havok provided the musical entertainment along with four food trucks offering delectable treats to a hungry crowd, a face painting booth for the kids and an 'Outlaw Apparel' truck selling the store's brand name clothing.
