On tonight's second episode of “Storage Wars: Texas,” the auction takes place in the town of DeSoto, Texas. The episode is titled, "The Ninja and the Pitmaster."
Ricky & Bubba are hoping to sweep the competition, a stranger on a motorcycle shows up to bid. Bubba wants to know who shows up for an auction on a crotch rocket? With only a few units, they are like hungry dogs.
The first locker has Jenny's eye and just about everyone else's. The new guy got it for $725 and already has Bubba pissed off. J.D. is the guy who won the auction, and as he goes through it, he finds some nice furniture and a weird contraption that turned out to be a home weather station worth about $1,000.
Locker two is the remnants of an apartment. Furniture galore and everyone is bidding again. It goes for $1600 to Mary & Moe. Trash is the name of the game as they find mostly damaged furniture. Mary spots something in the back with a motor. It is a barbeque grill that looks like a fancy hot rod. They took it to a barbeque pitmaster to check it out and found out it was worth $700.
Locker three is furniture again and Mary wants this one, so does Jenny, who gets it for $425. Too bad it is office furniture, not a favorite of Jenny. She took the old television cabinet, added a roof, windows and a door and made a dog house that her friend and her dog just loved.
The winner was J.D., who led the profiteers with $1,900. Jenny cleared $575. Mary & Moe scored on the grill for $80, but Ricky & Bubba had a three hour long ride home, and that was all on "Storage Wars: Texas."
