'Storage Wars' star Mark Balelo commits suicide just days after drug arrest (Photos)

"Storage Wars" star Mark Balelo has killed himself by carbon monoxide poisoning according to a report by TMZ on Feb. 11. There are a number of sources that are close to Balelo, 40, that confirm he was found dead in his car, parked in his garage with the engine running at his auction house in Simi Valley, CA. TMZ states that according to their sources, Balelo had been arrested on Saturday for a drug related offense.

TMZ reports that Balelo was released from jail after the incident and was distressed. He had asked his fiancée to come over because he was afraid that he might hurt himself. They met at his office on Sunday and talked for a few hours. He then took a four hour nap and when he woke up, his fiancée said that he seem to be doing better. Balelo's fiancée left him at the office Sunday evening.

TMZ was told that one of Balelo's employees found his body Monday morning. Law enforcement officials stated that an autopsy will be done on Tuesday.

Mark Balelo was the President and CEO of Balelo, Inc. which handles asset acquisitions, closeouts and liquidations. The company also serves as a distributor and wholesaler. Balelo appeared on a few of the "Storage Wars" episodes over the past seasons.
