‘Storage Wars: New York’ recap ‘Lady Luck Comes to Harlem' on A&E

On last night's second episode of “Storage Wars: New York,” the auction takes place in Harlem, N.Y. The main characters as introduced are; the Legend, the Loudmouth, the Conscience, the Flame, the Firecracker and the Hustler with the familiar theme song "Money Owns This Town" played with a different beat.

The first locker is a bunch of black plastic garbage bags just thrown in with a purple small refrigerator laying atop the mess. Joe P and Mike have no interest but Candy & Courtney see potential and win it for $125. A gorgeous long black fur coat worth $3,000 will pay for their new van.

The next room, as lockers are called in New York, is clothing. Joe P shines a black light on it to see if they are clean, and they are. The ladies see potential and Joe P keeps bidding, but acts like he is not bidding, but wins it for $225. Joe looks through the locker to find high end binoculars and bird watching books worth $1,000.

The next room is jam packed so much that the door will only open halfway. As they look up as far as they can see, Courtney with a short dress on, gives them a show they did not expect. Mike thinks the girls and the old man will not be able to haul this stuff away. Mike got it for $700. Mike and his friend try to empty the room to see what goodies they can acquire. A bull horn will bring $75, a belly dancers outfit, then some nice jewelry. Mike does not have a store; he turns merchandise over daily. He took three computers to a shop and got $200 for them. Afterwards he went to a jeweler and got $250 for three nice pieces of jewelry. Next he went to a tattoo shop to sell the massage chairs and got $250 and a re-ink of a faded tattoo.

Candy & Courtney were the high scorers for the day with $3010, Joe P made out with $795, Mike garnered $515, but Chris & Tad just spend money on cab fare. See you next time, on "Storage Wars: New York."
