The "Storage Wars" lawsuit is finally going to court. On March 13, Today reported that A&E has won the first part of this lawsuit. Superior Court judge Michael Johnson threw out Hester's claim of unfair business practices. He says that he needs some more proof.
The judge says that "Storage Wars" can express free speech and they are doing just that at this time. Hester's lawyer wants everyone to know that some of the stuff that happened was done behind the scenes and did not air. He feels like this should make a difference on the outcome of the case.
The judge also said that he was not wrongfully terminated from "Storage Wars." He is giving him the chance to come back with some more proof though and prove that he was really terminated for wrong reasons. He has to follow the provisions of the Communication Act of 1934.
Do you think that Dave Hester will come back with more proof? Did "Storage Wars" wrongfully fire him? Sound off in the comments.
