Sunday night's episode found the "Storage Hunters" in Reseda, Calif. The usual hunters are there including the Alvarado brothers. The first locker is one full of machinery, and one large piece covered up with a tarp. Papa Bear starts the auction off at $1,000, getting the evil stare from T-Money. Lori goes up to $3,400 but quits when Papa Bear goes to $3,500 and wins it. He knows this equipment very well, and the item under the tarp is a Can Am three-wheel motorcycle in mint condition. One small problem; no front tires. Finally, looking further, the tires are there, and it runs. It is worth about $12,000. Jackpot!
The next unit is a double-size bin with two doors. Sean only opens one door; a small crack allows them to see the other side and there are shiny things in there. T-Money and Alvarado fight it out, but T-Money wins it for $1,500. The other side of the bin gives Asian decorative items, sure to give him his money back.
Bin three opens, and a bag of dog food drops out. It looks like a dog grooming business with lots of organic dog food and shampoos. The bin goes to Brandon and Lori for $400. Lori found a dog collar that looked like diamonds; Brandon pooh-poohed the collar, until they had it appraised for $1,000. Payday!
Bin number four is sporting goods, pool sticks, surf boards and a huge Irish Drinking Team flag, probably from a dorm. As the bidding goes over $1,000, it goes to the brothers for $1,200. It contained a lounge chair that is an actual toilet. Cool!
The last unit seemed to have tons of sound equipment, had to be a DJ's bin. Sean did a reverse auction, starting at $6,000. As he lowered the price, it went to Brandon for $2,100. The bin does not look like it will make a profit because the cases contained just junk, but they made good money on the dog unit, so it was not a total loss on this episode of "Storage Hunters."
