Last night's episode found the "Storage Hunters" in Agua Dulce, Calif. with Sean conducting the bidding and the usual crowd of regulars and onlookers as they bid on abandoned truck container contents.
The first container is filled with wood, empty garment bags and lots of things behind that look like artillery cases. The bidding starts with Lori at $500. As the bidding continues to rise, Lori ignores Brandon's pleas to stop, and wins it against Scott for $5,000. When Lori and Brandon check out their finds, they discover crates with reproduction guns from the 1700s. The interesting find in the locker was a Gatling gun reproduction in excellent condition and worth $10,000.
The next container looks like vintage carnival stuff, an old refrigerator and lots of carnival coins. As Lori and Brandon are looking, the trailer door nearly slams on them, and Scott saves the day. Papa Bear wants this one, and gets it for $4,000. Papa Bear found a photo booth, an antique boxing game and a gypsy fortune teller game like in the movie "Big."
The next container has compressors, and lots of heavy-duty equipment. Lots of stuff in the back has tarps over it, and Scott has his eye on it, while Jesse and Scott battle it out until Jesse wins it for $2,500. As Sean and Jesse look through it, the compressor and huge fan will give Jesse one-third of his money back. Under a tarp is an antique wood planer that Jesse is sure to get $1,500 for and a big industrial lathe. Jesse wants to make a baseball bat with the lathe, so he can use it on Scott.
The last container of the day contained airplane parts, but if they have value, at least they are worth the scrap metal. Scott won it after Jesse bid him up again for $4,200. After Scott won it, a fight ensued between he and Jesse. Finally, when the fight was over, Scott found customized furniture made from airplane parts. There was a game console chair, two other chairs made from an engine cover, all-in-all, a profit of about $800.
Looks like it was an all-around winner on this episode of "Storage Hunters."
