The Field of Screams Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt Saturday, December 14, at 1:30 p.m.

Someone, or some thing, has been bumping off Field Museum staffers involved in acquiring a sacred Egyptian relic. Is it the dreaded Curse of Ahtchu? Or is a serial killer on the loose? Your team of sleuths have to crack a hieroglyphic code and uncover the museum’s secrets to stop the killings. Price, which includes museum admission: $33

The Murder at the Art Museum Scavenger Hunt
Saturday, December 28, at 2:00 p.m.

A murdered curator has left behind a cryptic trail of clues connected with secrets in works of art at the Art Institute of Chicago. As your team gathers answers about the artwork, you begin to piece together a sordid tale of greed, lust, pride, revenge and treachery, all revolving around the museum’s planned multimillion-dollar purchase of a painting by Leonardo da Vinci. Early Bird College Student (with valid ID) Price of $32 and Early Bird Adult price of $38 applies to tickets purchased the Monday (December 23) before the hunt. Regular Adult Price: $41

Family Hunts:

The Wizard School Scavenger Hunt
Thursday, December 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Follow in the footsteps of young wizards on a field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago, in search of art that echoes characters, places and enchanted objects in the famed Harry Potter books and movies. This hunt is designed for kids and adults to do together, but all-adult teams will be allowed to compete separately. Kids must be accompanied by adults. Recommended for ages 10 & up. Prices: $24.50 for ages 14 & up [includes admission]; $15 for kids 10-13, who may enter the museum for free.

Watson Adventures also offers a special Trivia Slam that can be staged in any location.

Advance purchase is required for all hunts. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 877-946-4868, extension 22. Meeting place information is provided once a ticket has been purchased.
