Stop Blackhawk ban of cyclists

Efforts to overturn the Black Hawk bike ban are moving to the next stage, as city leaders have chosen not to reopen public input on the ban. Bicycle Colorado has connected several cyclists who received tickets with a law firm that is providing pro bono representation. Arraignment for these tickets is scheduled for August with the trial to follow in the fall.

Bicycle Colorado has reviewed the city's ordinance with multiple lawyers and found it to be in direct conflict with state law. Our arguments will be presented at trial.
