Stone Mountain's Yellow Daisy Festival is here

The annual juried Yellow Daisy Festival is upon us.  It began yesterday and continues through Sunday.  Peruse the arts and crafts, take the kids to the Children's Corner, watch the clogging and crafter demonstrations, eat festival foods, and / or enjoy the live entertainment. 

Entertainment starts at 11:00 AM each day and ends at the closing of the festival each evening.  Today's entertainment consists of Country, Variety and Americana genres featuring Scott Thompson and Friends, Gwen Hughes Band, Georgia, and Jordan Rager.  Hear Pop Country group von Grey, Ryan Casper, Stephen Lee Band, The Vineyard, and Livin Large Saturday.  Sunday's entertainment will be provided by Alias Smith & Jones, The Mustangs, Foxes & Fossils, and The Band Perry

Festival hours are 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM today and Sunday.  Saturday hours are 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM.  Festival entry is free.  Stone Mountain parking costs $10.00.  Stone Mountain is located at US Highway 78, Exit 8, in Stone Mountain.  (Set your GPS to 1000 Robert E Lee Drive.)
